Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I have another card using this months designers challenge, use a pivot. The challenge to myself was to make a masculine card for my hubby.

Here is what I came up with using the Heart Pivot Card die.

I have altered aluminum foil using my Spectrum Noir marker in IG10. I also ran it through with the Riveted Metal embossing folder. The wood is paper from ARC paper company.

On the inside I continued with the altered foil. I LOVE the wood paper. Not only can you cut it, you can emboss it and print on it as well.

Here are some of the supplies I used:

Karen Burniston's February Designers Challenge

Hello everyone! Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge for February has each designer working with a Pivot Die from the Pop It Ups collection. For my project, I used the Katie Label Pivot Die.

On the front I used some rhinestone lips that I had in my stash and a ribbon buckle also from my stash.

On the inside, I use the included accessory dies to for my sentiment and its layers. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Luxe ink in Rose Bud. The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Operation Write Home Stamp set. The lips are from a Studio G stamp set. I also stamped the lips in Versamark and and heat embossed with Ranger Holographic Embossing Powder.

Fairy Nuff

Hello everyone! Well a new weekly challenge has begun at The Stamping Chef.  The current challenge is Anything Goes!

For this project I used the Oval Accordion Card die.  I have colored up an image called Fairy Nuff. This cute little image has been colored up with my next generation Spectrum Noir markers and American Crafts colored pencils. I have added some Stardust Stickles to the wings. And here is the front of my finished card ...

The colors used:
Skin: FS7, FS3, FS9, CR1, CR3
Hair: TN3, TN5, TN7, EB4
Purple: HB2, LV2
Wings: GT1, BT4, GT2

Pencils:

Black, Purple, Lt Blue, Aqua, Dk Peach, Pink

Here is the inside of my card. I love that this card can be used for a birthday or just any day to brighten up someone's day.

On this card I added the Oval Flourish Frame Edge to each of the inside sides. The flowers were made with the Elizabeth Craft Design Bunch of Flowers die. I also added leaves from the ECD Triple leaf die and a Martha Stewart Foliage punch. The flower centers are glitter dots from ECD which I have colored the center to coordinate with my project.
