Girly or Ghouly Challenge

Hey there my crafty peeps!  It is time for part 2 of the Karen Burniston Designers challenge. This time the challenge was set by Shelly Hickox to make a card either Girly or Ghouly. We had to think pretty, shabby, feminine or French, OR think creepy, crawly, spooky or eerie.

For my card, went pretty and feminine using the Flower Pot Pop Stand die. I totally love this die!!!!

For the outside of the card I used the Labels and Circles dies set along with the decorator dies from the Anita Frames Pop Up.  The stamps is from the new Occasions Clear Stamp set. The flowers are a combination of the flower dies included in the Flower Pot Pop Stand die and the flowers included in the Props 7 die set.

On the inside I have added a trellis from the Bamboo Trellis die and lots of flowers from the flower dies included in the Flower Pot Pop Stand die, the flowers included in the Props 7 die set, and leaves from the Curvy Leaves die set. I have also added the butterflies included in the Flower Pot Pop Stand dies set as well. I have used glitter dots and lines to decorate the pieces as well.

Here is a look from above. The lattice on the inside of the pot allows enough space for lots of pretty flowers. I have also added another set of labels for a sentiment.

Here is the best part of this die, it folds down flat for mailing. How totally cool is that!?!

Be sure to check out the other designers and see what they came up with for this challenge.

Cups O' Gratitude

Hello my crafty friends!

Today I am sharing a card using the Twist Circle Pop Up die, now available for purchase here:

I kept the front pretty simple using the circles included in the die set. I have added glitter dots and glitter lines also avail from Elizabeth Craft Designs as well.

On the inside, I decided to animate stacked cups from the Cup Pop Stand die. I love how versatile the Twist Circle die is. You can animate anything that you want inside the your card. The edge is stenciled with the Coffee  Stage It Stencil from the Pop It Ups line as well.

Here is a video by Karen Burniston, the designer of Pop It Ups dies, showing just how easy it is to use the Twist Circle Pop Up Die.

Flower or Flour Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!
It is time for the 1st Designers Challenge of the month. For this challenge, Karen has chosen:
"Flower or Flour" - Make a card with flowers OR make a card with a baking/cooking theme - you decide!

For my card, I went with Flower. On the front of the card I used the accessory dies from the Anita Frames Pop Up. I also added flowers from the Flower Pot Pop Stand die.

On the inside, you can see the flower pot pop into action

Here is a close up of the flowers.

A Spooky Scene

Hello my crafty friends!

I am sharing with you a sneak peek into some new dies being released in the Pop It Ups line at Elizabeth Craft Designs.

For the front if the card I used the new Bats stencil to ink in my bats. For the tombstone, I created a stencil from the new Halloween Scene die set.  The sentiment has been cut out using the decorator dies from the Anita Frames Pop Up die.

Inside my the card I used the the Halloween Scene dies again along with the new Iron Fence Pop Up die. The sentiment is from the Halloween clear stamp set. It has been die cut using the Labels & Circles die.

Here is another view inside the card. You can see how the iron gate pops up when the card is opened.
