Pretty Gift Card Presentation

Howdy my crafty peeps!

I am back with another Christmas idea. We all know how impersonal gift cards can be. For my project, I have created a card the allows for placement of a gift card inside. It is a way of making an impersonal gift, personal.

Here is the front of my card.

Here is the inside of the card.

Here is a closer view of the inside. You can always place a little note under the gift card so that when the card is removed, there is still a beautiful, handmade card.

Tags A Lot

Howdy my crafty peeps!

Just wanted to share a crafty project with you. I know I have said before how much I love Karen's dies and that they mix so well together. And today's post is no exceptions. For this project I used my all time favorite die, the Tag Book Pop-Up but this time, it is not a card.

The holidays will soon be approaching and I wanted to make some gift tags for some of the gifts that people will be receiving this holiday season. Here are five tags created using the largest tag die from the set. I have all featured a different character on each one.  Here are the tags ....

Here are some close up photos of the tags, each character is sporting a Santa hat and a wreath. For the bows on the wreathes, I used the bow accessory die for the cake Pop-Up. I have also added "berries" using a red Glaze pen.

It's All About the Trees

Howdy my craft peeps!  It is time for another Karen Burniston Designers Challenge. This month the theme is  Trees! We were challenged with making a card that incorporates a Christmas tree.

Here is the front of my card. The card is a standard A2 card. I have used the largest of the Rectangles - Crosshatch die set to cut the background layer.

Here is the inside of my card. I have used the Evergreen Pivot Panels die on the inside. I have cut trees using coordinating glitter papers. I have also cut the background layers with the same Rectangles - Crosshatch die set. I have added a place to sign the card using the same die set.

Make sure to stop by and see what the other designers have created for this month's challenge.
