It's Somebunny's Birthday!

Hello my crafty friends!  It is time for another Designers Challenge for Pop It Ups.

This months challenge is :  Pop it Ups Video Techniques - Choose any technique from any of Karen's Pop it Ups videos going back to the beginning and use it for a card of any theme.

For my card, I chose the Spiral Circle Pull Card and Lucky the Rabbit video tutorials.

Here is the card open. Using Karen's layering process on the acetate, it looks like an explosion of balloons.

Our Love Is On Target

Hello my crafty friends!  It is day 2 for this month's Designers Challenge for Pop It Ups.

This months challenge is : Characters in Costume - We've seen amazing Character transformations (Steampunk Poppy, Cocoa Unicorn, Cocoa Zebra, Rudy White Stag, Vampire Hoppy, Honey Pooh, Hoppy Tree Frog, Reindeer Brownie, Sleeping Dutch, Monster Mouse, etc.) and now it's time to show off your costuming skills to transform a Character.

For my 2nd card, I chose Lucky the Rabbit and transformed him into Cupid.

Here is the front of my card closed. I have used the Circle Pull card and Lucky has been dressed up using the Heart With Wings die set. The bow was made using the Accordion Fancy Label and the arrow uses the diamond from that die set.

Here is the card opened. I have layered circles from various die sets. I cut the spiral from the Spiral Circle pull card out of acetate. The arrows were cut from the Rectangle Pull card die set.

Make sure you stop by and check our all of the design team cards.

Woohoo! Hello my crafty peeps!  Today is the start of a brand new Karen Burniston Designer Challenge for Pop It Ups. This months challenge is  WHAT'S IN A NAME?.  Everyone has to incorporate at least two Pop it Ups dies according to your first and last initials.

Since my name is hyphenated I will am using three die sets.

Here is the closed card. I have used Virgil the Pig on the Spiral Circle Pull Card. The Hay There and Props 2 pieces was cut, glittered and colored with my Spectrum Noir markers.

January Designers Challenge Day 2 --- Its Rocky!

Well Hellooooooo my crafty friends! Today is day two of  the Karen Burniston Designer Challenge for Pop It Ups. We are continuing with the challenge of Triple Categories. Our cards must include dies from 3 (or more) categories in the Pop it Ups line - those categories are: Accordions & Frame Edges, Pivot Cards, General Pop-ups, Pull Cards, Pop Stands, Edge dies, Characters & Props, Embossing Folders, Accessory Dies.

Here is the closed card. I have used the Spiral Circle Pull Card and the Palm Tree and Pale. The sentiment was stamped on a tag from the Tags Pivot Card die. The sand is a combination of the new Beach edges and the Outdoor Edges dies.

When the card is open I have used the coordinating spinner die from the Rectangle Pull Card to spin up Rocky.  I Made Rocky a female crab using the Props 1 die and some fun googly eyes.

And the color is.... White

Woohoo! Hello my crafty peeps!  Today is the start of a brand new Karen Burniston Designer Challenge for Pop It Ups. We were challenged with making a monochromatic card in either Red, White or blue. For this challenge I  chose white for an elegant birthday card.

Here is the front of the card.

The background was embossed using the Trendy Tiles 2 embossing folder. The leaves are from the Rose and Daisy Elizabeth Craft Designs dies. The flowers are from the Spiral Circle pull card. I rolled the spiral using a quilling tool and voila, fabulous roses.

On the inside, I have again embossed with the Trendy Tiles 2 folder. I have used the Happy Birthday Pop Up for the sentiment. The Katie Label Pivot card accessory dies make the perfect spot for a little note.
