It's All About the Trees

Howdy my craft peeps!  It is time for another Karen Burniston Designers Challenge. This month the theme is  Trees! We were challenged with making a card that incorporates a Christmas tree.

Here is the front of my card. The card is a standard A2 card. I have used the largest of the Rectangles - Crosshatch die set to cut the background layer.

Here is the inside of my card. I have used the Evergreen Pivot Panels die on the inside. I have cut trees using coordinating glitter papers. I have also cut the background layers with the same Rectangles - Crosshatch die set. I have added a place to sign the card using the same die set.

Make sure to stop by and see what the other designers have created for this month's challenge.

All I want for Christmas!!

Hello my crafty friends.  I am here today with the first of the December Designers Challenges.

The challenge is:
"All I want for Christmas" - use your all-time favorite Pop it Ups die (the one you would want for Christmas if you didn't already own it) for a holiday card.

For the front of my card, I used the Label and Circles die with the largest tree from the Evergreen Pivot card die.

For the inside of my card I have used my new favorite, the Anita Frames Pop Up die. On the left side, I have used the smallest tree from there Evergreen Pivot. The sentiment is from the Holiday clear stamp set.

Karen Burniston July Designer challenge

Hello my crafty friends! It is time for a new Designer Challenge. This month the theme is Christmas In July. For my first card of the challenge, I used the Holiday House decorator die as well as a few others.

Here is a look at the front of the card.

Here us have used acetate to expose the inside of the card. You can see the House  and sme snowy hills made with the new Outdoor Edges die.

Here is a look inside....

Here you can see that I used the House Pivot card die. Instead of the house portion, I made a double fence. Inside the fence is a tree using the new Evergreen Pivot card die. The evergreen tree was cut using some honey pop paper.

Make sure that you check out the cards made by the other designers for this fun challenge.
