Avengers Assemble

Howdy my crafty peeps!

Just stopping by to share a card that I made for my little mans birthday. It is hard to see him getting older. But with getting older also comes more "big boy" cards. For this birthday, I have decided to go with an Avengers theme using the Snowman Twist Circle Pop-Up.  The card is 5x7.

Here is the card opened up. I have added the Happy Birthday die inside as well.

Here you can see the mechanism inside spin down which allows the card to lay flat for mailing. I did make sure that my images did not have any catch points by inlaying pieces so that they were smooth.

Here is close ups of some of the images used in today's card. I do have the all of the circular images on the dotted accessory circle included in the Snowman Twist Circle Pop-Up.

Pop It Ups January Challenge

Woohoo! Hello my crafty peeps!  Today is the start of a brand new Karen Burniston Designer Challenge for Pop It Ups. We were challenged with Triple Categories. Our cards must include dies from 3 (or more) categories in the Pop it Ups line - those categories are: Accordions & Frame Edges, Pivot Cards, General Pop-ups, Pull Cards, Pop Stands, Edge dies, Characters & Props, Embossing Folders, Accessory Dies.

Here is the closed card. I have used the new Rectangle Pull Card with the Barn Star from the new Star Accordion Card die. The sentiment was stamped on the banner from the Lots of Pops die.

When the card is open I have used the coordinating spinner die that is included in the Rectangle Pull card twice in the inside; I have also used the balloon die from the Circle pull card die. All of the stars were cut using the stars from various die sets.

Here are some of the supplies used:
