Happy New Year!

It is a new year and with it comes new things. I am happy to be a part of the Karen Burniston Designers Challenge team for the new Pop It Ups collection. These are fantastic dies that take your project from ordinary to extraordinary in no time.

For this project I used the Fancy Label Accordion Card die. I have colored up an image from Saturated Canary called Fancy with my Spectrum Noir Next Generation markers. Below is the front view of my card. I have added my Wink Of Stella Pen in clear to her dress and hair tie for some added glitz. I have also pair the Elizabeth Craft Designs Triple Leaf die for the foliage under my flowers.

Here is the inside of the card. I have used the included accessory die to create a frame for my sentiment. I also added the coordinating decorator frame die to accent the inside of my card.

The New Pop It Ups

Hello everyone! I have some exciting things to share with you today. As many of you crafters know, next week is the CHA megashow. The very lovely and talented Karen Burniston will be launching a new line of interactive dies with Elizabeth Crafts Designs. These new dies are wafer thin and can be easily moved around on your card/ project. You are not limited to a card size or design. Do you want the pop up a little more to the left or to the right?? You can do that!

Since Els with Elizabeth Craft Designs has given us the go ahead to post some of our projects using these new dies, here is the first of many.

Here I have used the Garden Bench with the All Seasons Tree. Instead of leaves, I used the hearts from the Oval Accordion Album. The stamps sentiment was cut using the smallest die in the Oval Accordion Album set.

Sitting on the bench is a digi image from Saturated Canary called "Owl Always Love You". I have colored her up with my Spectrum Noir next generation markers.
