Thanksgiving Birthday

 Howdy y'all!

Every now and then, my Mother's birthday falls on Thanksgiving. Today I am her birthday card that I made. I really wanted to include a turkey on it, but not have a true Thanksgiving card.  I used dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs to make this project.

For the card, I decided to go for a slimline design. On the front I have used the Turkey die. The fence and the landscape background we made using the Adventure Edges die. For the fence, I used wood paper from Arc paper and die cut with the fence die. The leaves are accessory dies that come with the turkey die. I have also added corn stalks from Corn Field die set. Another die used is the slimline landscape frame from the new Winter Scenery die set.

Here is the inside of the card.  I just layered the answer to the riddle from the card on a glitter cardstock along with a patterned paper from Simple Stories.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Birthday Explosion

Hello my crafty peeps!

Just stopping by today to share my latest card. My card today features the new Explosion Pop-Up die.

Here is the front of my card. I used the Rectangles-Crosshatch to make my card panel. Using the balloon die from the Explosion Pop-Up. I die cut multiple balloons out of various colors of cardstock and used the stencil feature to add the highlight with a white gel pen. I also die cut balloons out of my panel leaving negative space. Once that was done, I adhered the piece to my card base and then placed the balloons back in the negative space. I have also layers the new Celebrate die to the front of my card.

Here is the inside of my card.  I have used the explosion part of the die set to cut some lightweight confetti paper. I have also die cut the cupcake from the Cupcake Pop-Up and placed it on the base that comes in the Explosion Pop-Up die set. I have added additional balloons and a sentiment from the  Word Set 2 and Word Set 7 die sets. I have also layers some die cuts from the Ovals-Crosshatch die set to allow a place for me to write a greeting.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Mermazing Cake

Hello my crafty friends!  It is time for another Karen Burniston Designers Challenge. This month, the theme is  COFFEE & CAKE. We are to use either the Coffee Cup Pop-up OR the Cake Pop-up for our project.

Since I made a boy themed card for last months challenge, I decided to go a for a girl card this month. I used the Princess and Mermaid die set for the front of my card.

On the inside, I used the Cake Pop-Up to make a two tiered ocean themed cake. I used Tropical Scene die set to decorate the cake. I also used the Word 2 Set: Birthday die set for my sentiment on labels from the  Katherine Label Pop-Up.

Be sure to stop by and check out what the other designers have come up with.
